PROCESS
Little Moments took about 27 years to write.
Or rather to…finish. So that it was worth reading.
I’m serious.
The process was kinda wild.
Basically, I put the half-written manuscript down
because my water broke the morning
of my due date for my first baby.
When I came home with my baby daughter, I thought,
“Oh, I can do this. I can still write a story a day,
you know, when she’s sleeping. Oh, wait a minute…
She’s awake…be right back.”
I picked the stories back up three kids later
when the last one was leaving for, um, university.
As our last child walked out the door having found my manuscript
and read the first few stories, she said,
“Mom, finish your book. I need it.”
"You're either writing,
or doing something else."

DOCUMENTARY
Safely in the Rainbow
One day, at just two years old, Pâris mysteriously began melting away…
Safely in the Rainbow is a documentary that chronicles Pâris’s journey from his type one diabetes diagnosis at age 2, to his life as a 17-year-old.
Crafted primarily from home videos, the film captures pivotal moments, including Pâris becoming the youngest child in Spain to receive an insulin pump at age 3, playing soccer, competing in an international rowing event, and an alarming hypoglycemic crisis caught on camera by his sister, who was just 12 at the time.
To help Pâris maintain a healthy blood sugar level, his sisters create a rainbow-themed chart that inspires him to stay within a safe range—neither “over the moon” nor “under the sea,” but safely in the rainbow.
